rx1 won't keep running

I washed my 03 rx1 engine area at a car wash and now the engine will not keep running more than 10-30 sec. with the choke on. When I let off of the choke it dies. It backfires and tries to start .

Electrical wires/connectors are wet, let it dry in the sun or heat it with a hair dryer. It will be fine after it's all dried up.

Probably soapy water down the spark plug hole causing it to ground out. Pull the plug boots, dry it out, lube with insulating grease, start. May also have fouled a plug when trying to run it like that.
