Hey guys we got a little snow here!!  Took the Nytro out SWEET!! Man it gets with it RIGHT NOW! But one thing it is kissing the rev limiter a few times down low. You have to be going like 30-40 mph or slower and punch it and it will hit it like 2-3 times. I was trying to look at tach. Looked like 8900+ or so. I have to look to see what weights are in it but i think ( STM adjustable clutch weights through Ulmer, Ulmer helix) Where is the rev limit on the Nytros and what do i want to clutch for? 8,500Rpm? And best place to add weight?? I guess i need to get on a lake to see where the RPM is up top. Boost looked to be about 8psi....

Thank you Skydog  :4STroke:

You should have the following setup.

Primary Spring: Pink-Green-Pink
Rollers: Stock
Weights: 60Y
Heel: Tungsten & 1 washer
Mid: Empty
Tip: 1 washer
Secondary Spring: Silver (May also run white depending on conditions)
Helix: Ulmer Racing "K"

The rev limiter is 9400. If you were on loose/marginal snow I would not adjust it much as it will likely change when you get into hard pack/traction. Run it at 8800 rpm for best results.

Thank you so much! The snow was loose/marginal but it was hooking up HARD. It hit the rev limit one time on the grass too.

What should i wrap the Secondary Spring spring at? I will go look what color is in it.

Helix: Ulmer Racing "K" That is the helix in it looks like a white spring too.

I feel i will need to add a little weight. You sell a kit for the weights? I will call you...

Thank you Skydog

The weight kit should've been with the weights. They come with all left over fasteners when setup. You should've had a bag of washerrs & tungsten inserts left over. You will want to add some weight at the heel position.

Secondary Spring Wrap
Silver: 6-3
White: 3-3

Well took clutch off to have a look. Frist time i have seen the STM ramps nice stuff! The set up was the same as what you said up top, but it had two washers at the tip moved one to the heel. Took for quick spin no more touching the hard rev. limt. So i will let her be until i can get on a big lake to see if she is spot on!! Where you like the wide band O2 to be at idle? 12.5-13.5 or so?

Thank You Skydog

The idle on the nytro will be lean, expect high 13's to low 14's

Thank you buddy! When set at low 14s i would have a lean snap right off idle set box to about 13.0-13.5 seams to like it there.

Cos?? Can you tell me more? I am used to jets!! HAHAHHA But pushing bottons is better than pull the IC and carbs!! HAHAH

I cannot remember how to get into them have a poke around ulmer racing's website they had a way to do it.

The CO's are accessed though the dash not the GEMS box.
