Please keep in mind I,m in upstate NY, I have the stage 1 pulling 10lbs. On an 06 RTX and I also had the popping off idle when hitting the flipper. I changed the co level from 0 to +3 and it all went away, still have some fine tuning to do. Are you using an a/f gauge? Again my a/f gauge would show around 16 to 20 cracking the throttle off idle, with the +3 setting on the co the a/f is showing about 11 to 12. As for the clutching I would contact ulmerracing I think he could set you up with a nice kit for a good price.

Hammer,
There is a High Altitude remapping available (10,000+ ft). I know Mack from MPI real well and last spring he remapped mine and two others for test and feedback before releasing it to everyone. The mapping is complete and they are remapping for all Stage 1 guy's that ride above 10k ft regularly. I have a few friends that sent theirs in over the last two weeks. You'll find the fuel controller has a touch more tuneability and runs crisper at high altitude.
The next remap after this one is going to have a built-in barometer so it compensates for altitude changes more effectively with the fuel injection and stock mapping.

Good news for SC owners. You'll find the fuel controller has a touch more tuneability and runs crisper at high altitude. The next remap after this one is going to have a built-in barometer so it compensates for altitude changes more effectively with the fuel injection and stock mapping.
