sc10 II or III in a 06 attak

Hi guys, I know I seen some posts on a bomb skid in the RX1 but I can't find any of the new chassis?.. are they the same messurements as th X1?
The question is.. why when people install a bomb skid do they leave the rear of th skid so far out of the tunel?

the tunnels are the same just the mounting brackets and locations changed with the different yamaha skids. its been done by a few members of this site and a search in the rx forum should find the posts. when installing any brand skid you need the measurements of the doner skid. also note that the tunnel surface on these 4 strokes is the bottom of the protectors.

They leave the rear of the skid so far out of the tunnel because of the track hitting on the tunnel protectors and anything else the track wants to hit, i had alot of trouble with this on my artic cat skid, its no fun

Definatly measure from the bottom of the protectors. Got a few of us in trouble here without doing that.

Messure from the bottom of the tunnel protectors? at the back?.. what about the front?.. do the protectors go all the way to the front?
