Scandinavian Apex TTX with Ohlins

Not sure if all of you have seen this. Scandinavian dealers are offering the Apex TTX this season. Basically an Apex XTX with Ohlins shocks in rear and front. You almost get the shocks for free in this deal

Why is it that don't?

I know Yamaha isn't the only one to offer different pkg's over seas but I can't understand why they do it?

It's not like the Ohlin's weren't a popular shock and nobody wanted them here in North America, they were a popular shock that most loved but were told for various reasons they were being discontinued.

I know when I seen the new Vector's come out a couple/few years ago minus the GYTR's, it took all my interest away from ever purchasing one.

Scandinavian dealers are making these changes at final assembly before delivery as I understand so it would be possible for dealers across the pond to offer this as well. We also have the Nytro TTX, M-ride and X-ride that is customized by dealers with different goodies before delivery

I swapped my GYTR fronts out last season for Ohlins and I'm loving it. They look awesome and perform awesome

I have had both and after the ohlins were revalved wozas best shocks I have ever had. They soak up everything and still dont let the body roll very much in a hard corner.
