I have read all the previous posts but can’t find the answer to my issue.
First ride of the season - just around the cottage.
Backing into garage and sled throws SD08 and will not come out of reverse. For sure my belt was way too tight as had my BOP adjuster backed off all the way after installing the belt after summer storage.
So I adjust belt to be on the loose side and then remove actuator motor and turn actuator extension counter clockwise to put sled in forward. While holding the actuator in my hand with the sled running and pushing the reverse button - the actuator cycles properly.
So I reinstall actuator and start sled. No code and run the track in forward on the stand. All good. Switch to reverse and it goes into reverse. Run track in reverse on stand and it won’t shift into forward and throws SD 08 code again.
I tried backing off my chain tension as well and repeating this same cycle and the problem remains.
Could I have damaged the actuator motor by having the belt too tight?
Does it make sense that the actuator works when I am holding it in my hand, and to put the sled in reverse but not back into forward?
Any other ideas?
