I know this topic has been beat to death but something weird happened. Wondering if someone could make sense of it. So my last trip the SD-08 came in when trying to go into reverse after long ride. It didn't the first try so I inched forward and then it went. Happened again next day .... same tactic worked. After reading some of the comments I figured I'd just get a new actuator since I had some dealer credits. When I replaced with the new one it went in reverse and the nothing. Thought it was they way I installed so re installed and nothing. I put the old one back and put it in reverse and forward 10 times just to be sure with no issues. What gives? Top bushing was fine when I checked pre season but has 800 miles since.

I have stated before that I didn't think belt tension has an effect. I was wrong. I found out with my own sled when switching to the xs825 belt.
So make sure belt tension isn't too tight.

Agreed because this only began when using xs825. Belt is lower in the sheave for sure but I believe the belt width is still an issue. It was just odd that I have use original actuator.

Well once I got it set all was fine. I don't blame the belt, I just didn't have it set right while switching from the 8DN.
