I posted not long ago about Yamaha being overly aggressive (IMO)with their Snow Check pricing for the 2011 Apex.

Bottom line: evaluated what the other OEM's offered, then both Dealer and Yamaha added some further incentives , heard alot more positive reviews from TYY members, and that was enough.

As an aside to "Turk", when you quoted your prices in Canada-- that was a real eye opener ! You guys are getting shafted when the US and Canadian $ are so close to even. Hope Yamaha comes thru for you guys by the time they start delivering sleds this Fall.

this is why both my apex's were bought in the states, and now that the dollar is almost par... mmm makes you thing... since i'm only 1.5 hrs from border... 2 years ago i saved about $4500 on the rtx and about 3500 on the 40th when compaired to what dealers here offered me... Trust me.. i'm all for supporting the local economy but when they try to a$$ F!@# you with the prices as bad as they are... i will go elsewhere....
