Anyone ever try one of these? Looking into getting on for my XTX so I can take the misses for a ride.

RR I had one on my Polaris after I removed the 2-up seat, don't ask... anyway, if you are only going to use it a few times it's great, if you are going to 2-up alot I wouldn't recommend it.
You sell the Cat?

Did you try riding a passenger yet? I rode my wife on the back of my XTX for a short run and I was suprised how well it worked, plenty of room. Felt more like a bike than a sled. I suppose she wants the back rest though huh.

No. Just a bunch of punks calling and wasting my time.
My wife only goes for a couple rides a year. So I think the jack seat might be the best option.
I went to their web site and it states that the seat will fit the 08 nytro. I'm thinking that it should work for the XTX.

RR, I took my wife out with me last night for a 70miler and it was fun. No seat jack. I'm 6'-4" 230 lbsand she is 5'-8" (and she's not watching me type this) 140 lbs. I forgot to stiffen up the rear an I already had full transfer set up for fun wheelies. Whoa man, 135 kph and the ski's finally came down to dangle along the snow. FAH-UN. There was also alot of times with mild cruising as I wanted to live again to ride another day. All in all at the end of the ride she was stiff ans sore due the tappered tunnel, her seating position was not as comfortable as others have been. 05 Rage and of course the luxurious 06 Venture. So I might be looking for a seat jack too. The Queens comfort cannot be comprimised. If it makes her happy one or twice a year and I can take it off and have my fun too, it's worth it. Go for it, and could you post the link here for me to order one too. Thanks Scott

We have the Seat Jack for taking the kids..... works very well although they do get cold. I also have sat on it while the boys are driving and it's a very nice set-up. Careful with the throttle on hills thjough.... wheelie city!
PS: Installation is pretty easy and once the rails are installed R&R of the seat is a breeze!

I have a Seat Jack for my Nytro. Its great for the kids or a smaller adult. Very good quality product and goes on and off in 60 sec. The sled will push more in the corners, but just take it easy.

Rowdy,
I just installed a seat jack on my XTX last week. My 9 year old son rides with me occasionally and I figured it saveds me from having to get a two-up. Initial install is easy and final setup is good. Plenty of room, comfortable and with him on I can ride really easy. If your wife only rides on occasion then I would recomend it. It looks a bit goofy when it's on, but the function is great.

RR,
Crank the springs to hard and have her sit on the back (no jack required).
My wife rides her own sled 95% of the time however about a month ago her's wasn't available so she got on with me for a couples ride. I'm no small fry at 240 (before gear) and she had no trouble fitting on with me. The Nytro's ergos are such that the rider is wrapped around the tank anyway which surprisingly leaves a great deal of room for a passenger.
The sled handles fantastic with only one bottom out. The only thing my wife complained about was not being able to hold on tightly. I'm too big around and with the tekvest on she couldn't really dig into me.
Obviously if you are talking 75+ mile runs, you might want to give her a seat, but for 40-70 miles, throw her on with you and tell her to grab tight. You should see how good the sled will wheelie LOL.
