Seat kit for Nytro

I have got the Skinz seat so - obviously - I did not hesitate to spend the $550 plus shipping across the pond...
My main reason is the weight reduction. The total weight of the Skinz seat is 2785 grams. It is replacing standard parts at 5500 grams (exhaust not considered). I can not give too much feedback about riding performance right now as I am in the middle of the install, but at least the build quality seems to be quite alright.

Let us know how that seat works out for you, I am interested in some real trail/off-trail feedback.

I am in the middle of the assembly since I had to manufacture a block-off plate as well as a bracket for my exhaust system.
I will finish the assembly during this Friday and then ride it during the weekend.

The Skinz seat is installed and my first riding impressions are - not much of a difference compared to stock! That might sound a bit negative, but in my case it is actually something positive. I am a 100% stand up rider so I have never ever used the stock seat. This means that my butt will likely never touch the Skinz seat anyway...So, my summary would be that by installing the Skinz seat I lost close to three kilograms, got a cleaner look and kept the same ergos.
I will come back with more impressions and pictures at a later stage. There was actually quite a lot of modifications that was tried for the first time during the past weekend - the Skinz seat, a block-off plate and Ohlins TTX shock absorbers as well.

I look forward to the feedback on the shocks. I switched my mountain bike air shock to a canecreek double barrel which borrows the tech from Ohlins ttx shock. I really love the shock but never compared it to a needle valve shock.

The first outing on the TTX shocks was on very snocross-ish damping specs. A bit on the stiff side for trail- and freeriding, I would say...
Softening them up quite a bit right now, in order to have a second go during the weekend.

Alatalo, didnt you have another set of Öhlins on it before?
And, i suppose you dont do too much offtrail driving since you havent covered up all the holes in/around the hood?

Yes, I have got a set of "standard" 46 mm shocks as well. They will probably go in and out couple of more times during this season, just to update the reference when working on the TTXs...

My trail/off-trail ratio is probably very close to 50/50. And yes, I have had close to enough of the 20 kilogram ice castings of my oil tank and chaincase area. But I have found no vent kit that impressed me from a fit and finish point of view...
