Seat Mods

I am looking for feedback regarding seat mods. I have the oppertunity to purchase an Apex seat and then would purchase the Nytro tank cover and modify the wiring to the tail light or the opertunity to purchase the Mountain Mod seat which no tank cover needed or wiring modification.

So question is what do I do and who sells Mountain Mod seats?

One more thing I know that Boss have very good seats but I understand that delivery times are unrealistic at best.

I was under the impression that you can cut the tank cover to fit like guys are doing with the nytro seats.

The cover cut is a easy mod. This is what I cut off of my Rage.

Not only that, but you can use the tail light from the RX1 to fit into the Nytro seat. The apex seat has the crystal LED. I just did this to my RX1, and I like it and can't wait to try it out. I put on a 3 inch risor from Richmotorsports, and didn't have to buy longer cables. The trick is to get the risor that pivots right away.

Ok so what do I need to do the conversion for the Apex seat?? for the tail light????

RX-1

RX-1 light fits the apex seat. You just re-use the taillight holder that came with the RX-1. It is a direct replacement. The only thing you use from the Apex is the seat itself. All other pieces are a direct swap from the RX seat assy. All holes, etc line right up. Did it to my RX mtn.

But I kinda like the light from the Apex. I believe you just direct wire it.
