Seat removal-how?

How do you remove the seat from an Apex? Thought I'd ask before resorting to removing anything I didn't need to to do it.

You first must remove the black exhaust covers that go around the exhaust. You'll remove these by loosening the allen screw on the lower side and then the other allen screw that is 180* from it. Then you'll need to pull the back black plastic piece out (gentle!) and then there will be two "J" hooks with a 10mm nut on them. Loosen those two nuts and lift the seat up and slide it back slowly, the tail light wiring plug-in will be up by the gas tank.
