can someone tell me how the seat is removed?

Remove exhaust end caps.
Remove 2 screws on side of tail light and remove tail light assembly.
You will then see the 2 nuts on the j-hooks that hold the seat on.
Unplug electric plug on right front between seat and tunnel.
Remove 2 screws on side of tail light and remove tail light assembly.
You will then see the 2 nuts on the j-hooks that hold the seat on.
Unplug electric plug on right front between seat and tunnel.

Just an addition to what favarcat said.....in the exhaust endcaps, only two of the allen head screws come out. The 3rd one stays in the exhaust end cap. And you have to unplug the seat electrical harness under the right side cover, which is below the gas tank shroud on right side of sled.
