Second Annual McCall, Idaho ride????

Nice to see you found your head so quickly gramps. ;)!

Edit; By the way Ray what are the closest snotel sites to McCall? I like to keep track of snowfall when it starts sticking.

Not fair, CHEATER!!! :moon: :moon: :moon:

You're just afraid of a girl kicking your butt :D

Hey Mr. Potatohead!

I'm going to have to do some stuff to my sled before/when I go out there...

Jetting,
Raised handlebars,
Clutching (I'm pretty well ready with this),

Anything else?

Maybe you could give me a hint about the jetting... stock intake, what jets should I buy?

About the handlebars... They're SHORT, so I'm going to have to go WAYYY UP, how far should I go? Cables? Anywhere I could BORROW that stuff from? Yes, no, maybe? Thats easy stuff... so you could get the parts over to your place before I get there (that way I don't have to order them across the border)?

Mountain strap? WTF is that and should I bother?

Don't forget the most important mod! a pouch of somekind for the skunk ;)!

Wife figures she will have the skunk for a while. I suggested a noose to hang it off the rear bumper to her. :drink: She was thinking a self adhiesive velcro strip on the hood and it's butt.

On a different note she might not get her sled til late in the season. Polaris has allready issued an update bulliten for the drive shaft. It seems the supplier f #$%&* ed up and they can break.

A mountain bar is an absolute must! They are available for less money than this but this link gives a good picture. http://www.powermadd.com/product_frameset.cfm

Main jets? I have been able to go to 130's but I would suggest 132.5's. They will be close enough.

Bars? The higher the better. I think your cable is shorter than a Mtn so you will need a cable. I have an extra MMX cable that should work. You also gain significant hieght by rolling you bars forward. Does anybody that is coming have an extra riser laying around?

Clutching? Lighten up those weights a whole bunch!! You will lose over 20% of your sleds power by coming to these elevations. Check out the diferrences in the service manual. That will help to give you an idea of the effects of elevation on clutching. You are welcome to use my stock weights if you would ike.

I saw the same thing. Hopefully they will have them fixed before the snow flys!!!
