Just picked up an Apex with 1500 miles on it. I would like to know how much in and out ( push and pull ) movement the whole secondary sheave assembly should have if any on the shaft. It does not wobble at all, it just has some in and out play on the shaft. Is this normal ?

Up to ~ .080" is O.K. Some guys go with no endplay. But then you need to be right on with off-set. So, with .080" you do not need to be right on with off-set.
