Which spring is harder Dalton secundary red spring or the Yamaha OEM purpel spring.
If i change settings in the secundary from 6-1 to 3-3 mor or less tracktion?
I have issues whit pinging the rev limit from take off for a short while.
Running a Viper XTX LE whit 2,25 PC track.
Running Supertip 50Y and OPO spring, Dalton 46-40 helix and Dalton red spring and 8DN.
Supertip 50Y 4gram heel, middle 0gram, tip 0gram.
Secundary wrappet 6-2, hitting the limit from takeoff and then holding the rpm 8800-8900 i 1m snow, the same on hardpacket snow. 135km/h as fastest
Driving at 50km/h the snowmobile revs 8800-8900 whitout pinging the revlimit.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like you need more heel weight at this point.

I agree... more heel. Just for fun, try the tungsten in the heel. Leave all your other settings.

i have tested whit 2 gram more / weight in the heel, same problem whit pinging the limit, onley diffrence is that the rpm lowered after rpm stabiliserad in a long pull in deep snow.

Wrap the secondary at 6-1, add some heel weight, gonna need more then 2 washers... Try a tungsten, if not a tungsten and 1 washer, add 1 washer to the tip and to out and drive it.... What I was doing wrong when I was setting mine up is I was going from a dead stop, Ya can't do that unless you can get that thing to hook hard off the line... Try a roll on from 30mph, This is what was suggested to me and it definately helped stabilize the Rpms more and give me a better idea of what's going on
