Hey gang,
Been reading here and getting a lot of different messages, I have a 2007 Apex rtx/ er, it was bought as new old stock in Jan 09.
I have never had a problem w/ it til the other day when I pulled it out and went to start it after sitting since Feb.
Usually when I turn on the key and turn switch on it will kick on the fuel pump and it will run "loudly" for 2-3 secs and shut down when there is pressure. This time when I went to start there was no pump run noise, and it turns over to no avail , I charged the battery fully and went back to give it another shot as they are fussy on voltage, and same, if fuse is good, relays appear to be good, if I remove gas cap and put my ear "in tank" you can here the pump VERY faintly for like 1 sec, but it is faint!
Now I have been reading about the corrosion probs w/ the connector next to battery that many have had. My question is : I know the fuels are full of sulfates etc.......and have been raising hell in my car gas tanks for a cpl yrs now, could this be the issue here? Have not gone after the bad design connector yet, don't want to go that deep if not necessary.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, gauges all come on work properly but no code or light? Thank you! Jeff Z

If you are sure there is enough fuel in the tank, the first thing I would try is switching the relays around. They are interchangeable. If still no change, then start looking at connections. Also check for signs of a mouse invasion.

Hook it up to a car and see if it will run that way. The battery could be bad.

X2 on switching relays. Check the connection at the fuel pump connector. Hopefully you don't have a bad pump
