Seems the ZX-2 AD Boivin suspension would be good for RX

Which skid is better, forgetting price? Is one better for groomed riding and the other for huge bumps? Durability, transfer, etc. Also, why your product and not the new Airwave, again price aside? Trying to make a decision for my Warrior. Thanks.

The ZX-2 is the first suspension on the market to give you confort and aggressivity.what i mean by that is a soft and smooth suspension that does not bottom out.

How many time did you set-up your suspension for a nice smooth ride over small to medium bumps and at the first big bumps: BANG ! bottom out !

or the other way around: you make your suspension stiffer for a more aggressive ride so you don't bottom out in the big bumps .but you have to chew a old gum to make sure your teeth stay in your mouth over some small to medium washing board trail!

The new G-FORCE shock is the earth of the suspension. Denis has the patent for it and we are going to built them in house.

This suspension is the futur ! would you go back to your steel ski ???

Jeff, don't mean to put you in a tough spot, but which one of your products would you go for at this point, ZX-2, unproven, or the proven expert X? For almost half the price, what am I giving up on the Zx that I'm getting on the Expert X? Thanks, again, Rob

Welcome to TY Jeff. I love the idea of a new suspension in my sled for such a great price.

I'm not sure where I read this, it might have been an earlier post here on TY, but I heard that there was a 4 year warranty against breakage on the ZX2.

Could you clarify is this is true or not?

no problem Yammi,

I would go for the ZX-2 because of the new G-FORCE shocks. this is something hot !!! this is what make the suspension good everywhere. on top of this you have the composite suspension that is the futur:(light, stronger, more durable). and you finish this combo with the new revolver system for the wheight transfert and the coupling of the suspension (geometry). This is the first suspension to give you confort without bottoming.

after that you get 4 free 8 inch wheels and the 8 other wheels are super light with low friction and low inertia bearing.

if you have a big horsepower sled, like 250 to 400 horsepowers. i would go for the Expert X.
Why ? because the new set-up we have for a 136 sled with a 121 suspension is pretty good for the guys that do some trail and some lake run for top speed. the angle of attack almost desapear with this set-up ! plus you can adjust right height really quickly. you ride in the trail and you decide to do some lake run. 17mm rachet wrench that come with the skid and 5 minutes then you are a low rider and ready for speed.

this is what i sudgest you but you guys are always the chief for this !

we are working on it. we have not tested those shock on the expert x yet.
The goal is spread those shocks out there . we will push them in dirt bike,4 wheelers etc...
the G-FORCE is something big !!! you should ear a lot about this shocks in a near futur !!!

about warranty, it is 1 year parts.
but don't get me wrong, i will stand by my product !
if you ever brake it or have problem with it. you get in touch with me and i will take care of it ! Garantee!

who ever had to deal with me before know what i am talking about !

Well, after reading this...I guess I better just stick with my expert x. I will be running around 250hp on my sled. I was wondering if this skid could take that kind of torque over and over. Thanks for the honesty.

Like a say before, The ZX-2 is the Best suspension for trail riding. it is the first suspension to give you confort without bottomming.

The Expert X is as good in small to medium bump but when the trail is ruff. nothing can touch the ZX-2.

So like i say in the previous post, if you do a lot of trail and like confort, The ZX-2 is your choice.
If you don't do as much trail and you have fun on the lake. the Expert X new set-up (121-136)may be a way to go. but with the confort of the Expert X in the trail.

So if you guys think the Expert X can suck those bump. wait to see the ZX-2 !!!

jeff is great to deal with, placed an order for mine today, had an expert-x before, was a awesome suspension....now something even better..i looked into replacing the crapola steel shocks on the mtx and i can get the zx2 for the same price as aftermarket shocks...super deal if you ask me
