They are assembling this week and hope to ship first part of next week. I ordered direct as it will take some time to fill the distribution network. They had a long back order due to coloring mismatch and then the west coast dock workers delays.

Maybe im not seeing it from the pictures but they dont look a whole lot different to me than the star series hand guards.
I mean, i can see there is some design differences in the Layout of the blue/white colors and the shape is a little different, but overall they look very similar to me.
What are the advantages of these over the star series guard?
Are they bigger?

Anyone know if they provide more protection than the Yamaha guards? How they are mounted?

nothing will beat rox flex handguards they offer the most protection but you pay for what you get
These handguards are huge, so I would think they would provide great protection.

the way they design is that they will blow right at yout finger tips i had set with flares and they were too cold

I've never had a problem with powermadd's and cold hands. Not saying it's not possible everyone is different. I also wear claw style gloves or my shooter gloves ( paw with index finger separate )

the way they sit on nytro were making my hands freeze bad plus compare to rox they like two more inches away from bars. on viper they would mount even further because of controls and brakes
I'm riding without guards so anything will help. The Sentinel is larger than the Star series. More in length, but also a bit taller I am told.
