- 2008 yamaha nytro mtx mcx 270
Hello.
I have a 2008 nytro mtx and the front shocks need to be serviced/rebuilt (or upgraded but i can't afford that now)
Can these shocks be rebuilt? and if so can anyone give me the specs of the rebuilding ? I have a friend that can rebuild it for me almost for free but he needs to know where everything should be inside the shock before he can do it. Anyone that can help?
Thanks
john

Can't help ya with specs or anything, maybe a Google Search could turn up some good info. Those do looks like rebuildables though.

Yea i tried google, but i think google has turned in to #*$&@, it comes up with a lot of things that i don't search for.

call or write to hygear suspension. they rebuild them for $30 each. maybe they can steer you in the right direction for the specs to rebuild them yourself seeing as how you are in Norway. it is worth it to at least ask. I did not think the 08 shocks could be rebuilt. I have a pair that have never been used off my 08 MTX that are for sale but shipping to Norway would be a tad bit spendy

I forwarded your pic of shocks to my shock guy and yes they can be rebuilt / serviced and can also be re-valved.
