has anyone tryed running the shade tree studs? i see they are priced real good and have a three year warranty for breaking or bending

Excellent studs. Not one bent, not one broken last season and no corrosion. Best stud around. The year before I had Woody's, a third, yes 33% were broken.

it was pretty hard to bend any last year in canada as the snow depths were very good.
the problem with anybodies warranty is you need to buy extra. you have to send them back for replacement under warranty. missing studs don't count. you get a lot more pull throughs with these longer studs in low snow conditions.

Try using the double backers were you can. That helps elimainate the pull thrrough singles.

Most of my Woody studs broke pulling in and out of my garage, snow conditions were not an issue. No problems with the Shade Tree's. Didn't break or bend a single one last year and no pull throughs, so no need to use the warrenty. The warrenty just shows how great of stud it is.
