Are you Yamaha riders putting shims on the new type of skis. My old skis the rubbers stops were all wore and cracked with a shim. They lasted about 7000 miles they were bergstrom triples

On the Tuners you mean? If so, the answer is yes.

I have found the carbides to have very even wear without using any shims on my tuners. I tried shims in the back and there was to much wear in the back of the carbide.

So....by my having to shim my Tuners and reading and hearing reports of others having to shim theirs....that means we are in the wrong?
Maybe my answer should have been something along the likes of "in mine and many other's situations.....YES.....but your results may be different".
My apologies......

Yes, maybe for some people they may have gotten different results but I have 2013 & 2014 Vector LTX's with tuners and I had the same results for both. One has the Bergstrom triples and the other has the original carbides.
