Local shop wants 80 to rebuild my rear skid shock, and 60 each to rebuild the front ones. Is that reasonable? 2006 apex er,stock shocks

That price is reasonable.

Just a suggestion... If your shocks are still calibrated to factory specs, there is much to improve upon by having them revalved to your specific weight and riding style. There are a couple vendors on the site that do a great job with this. Rebuilding is usually fresh oil, seals and gas with no changes to valving. Revalving (by an expert) is usually just slightly more than rebuilding and could be well worth it.

I bought the sled with 2400 mi on it 6 yrs ago. I put 6000 miles on it and never rebuilt them. I think it still rides ok but I'm used to older sleds so stock is probly better than I've ever had, lol! He wanted an extra 45 bucks to revalve. I'll see how it goes this season, and maybe revalve next year if needed
