I just replaced the track on my Apex after 4,400 miles. I have installed a predrilled Camoplast track. Should I replace the transfer rod?

I think there was some guy on here saying it should be replaced when you replace the track. I just don't want to destroy a brand new track. You help is much appreciated.

4500 miles on My 06 Apex and track looks like new. Also transfer rod looks new but I think YOU should replace yours. While your at it this might be a good time to replace all the rivets on your chassis, better to be safe than sorry.

Dont worry about it, just make sure you dont have it threaded past the max it can thread otherwise, there isnt enough thread left on the rod and they can slip by each other, ripping out all the threads and damaging your track

Now if you were to remove the rod all together, you would have a wheelie monster with limited trailability.
