I've been to Hurricanes shop. I didn't see magic, just huge horsepower and an amazingly helpful staff. What magic did you see?

I haven't seen the claimed 400hp kit yet. I've searched everywhere I just find it hard to believe they have a kit that can produce that much power on the vipers.I've been to Hurricanes shop. I didn't see magic, just huge horsepower and an amazingly helpful staff. What magic did you see?

I assume you haven't seen the 550 hp kit either? He also has a sled that runs over 190 mph on ice or asphalt. Dave and his team make amazing, reliable horsepower. If you do have an issue he'll go out of his way to help you.

No I haven't. Before I decide to get into something that is thousands of dollars I need proof. Any ideas of where I can see this online?I assume you haven't seen the 550 hp kit either? What gears are you running now? Do you miss the LE low gearing ?How could you say less problems ? Firth year anything models are prone to problems. I have the hurricane turbo on the 15 rtx le and love it. I was even driving it with the stock gears .
I'd say either way you'd be happy but if you don't wanna take.a big hit I'd take a second look at a turbo kit.

Vampire? That's a new one. 5lbs isn't creating enough heat to need a IC especially when its sucking in 32f or colder air.Cause the MPI 190 kit or vampire as some call it has no intercooler? correct me if I'm wrong guys. I want an intercooler on my sleds.

Im
I'm going to run 21/41 with a 1.5" ripsaw track for next year. If you keep the stick gears it's fun as #*$&@ but when the turbo really starts to spool your outta gear. I figure I should.be good for 115 mph with that combo for next season. But I haven't tested it out with that track. I just needed a.new track cause my 1.7 is in ruff shape.after 2800 miles . Thaught I'd try this. Tho gotta wait till.next year.
With that gear Combo you won't notice much of a lose in the bottom.end but if you don't care for top speed ( id still get over 100 MPH with machined clutches ) on hard pack. Tho loose.snow.ita only around 85-90. All.depends how you wanna ride. Trust me tho with the coupler blocks out and the low gears it's a beast! Hold on tight

I thought about turbo in my Viper, but now since there will be a badass factory turbo viper it will be a serious waste of money to pour 3k at least into a machine that has already depreciated more than a new Cadillac. I will be money ahead in the long run by taking the hit on trade in next year on one of the many left over turbo vipers.
