04 warrior .......140+studs , Installing my extrovert drivers today , found that the studs are getting perilously close to the front cooler . track is 1.25 ripsaw with 1.375 studs ..........you can run the track looser with extroverts .....Somehow I think this would be a bad Idea .

I'd add a 1/4" thick strap on top of the existing protector. It looks like you might be able to tig weld it directly onto the exchanger.

If you can't weld that piece in there. At least tek screw a couple of hyfax in there!!

At least 1/4 of an inch, and you won't be able to run your track loose with the stock suspension. I know I tryed it last year and damaged my front heat exchanger. I installed the extroverts and thought I could lossen up the track a bit. Wrong. I only have the 1.325" woodys in my ripsaw and that happened.

Mine was worse. My studs actually cut through the bulkhead on the outsides of the protectors. I was running 1.25" studs on a .5" speed track. Just add the .25" aluminum strips to your tunnel protectors.

I just installed these extrovert drivers on my '03. I got them from Bender Racing and they looked to be machined but I had to take some more off in order to pass the W-Arm. They are Wahl drivers. I run 1.40" studs with no trouble. I did however remove my front cooler protectors. I also loosened the track 3mm and had no problem.
