Both my SRX LE and LTX GT were cancelled .
I miraculously found a SRX in Blind River and picked it up yesterday.
Not too bad of a drive .
Not much snow your way , yet !
I see you are killin it out on the lake .
Is Whitson frozen up now ?
If I get some studs installed this week , I am heading to Kap on Friday .

Congrats! Whitson has been good for a few weeks. Not much snow yet but we are supposed to get some tonight. Enjoy the new sled.

I went into the local Yamaha dealer and jokingly asked if they had a 22 SRX for sale .
Of course they said no , but then said their battery supply guy , was just in , and that he had seen one on the floor of a dealer up north .
I went home , called my son , and asked him to find it for me .
It was not listed for sale , as the dealer was considering to drive it as a demo , after the original purchaser backed out.
Only Yamaha , the original purchaser, the dealer , and the battery guy knew about that sled.
My son found it in 5 minutes , and then tried to hold me ransom for a finders fee !
I told him I have been paying a finders fee ever since he was born !!
I called the dealer the next morning , and was the 3rd caller that had heard about the sled thru the battery guy , and luckily it was still available .
I hadn't been to Blind River in 52 years so I figured I was due for a visit .
A 9 hour round trip , but well worth it .

Awesome!! Your damn lucky, found a needle in a haystack. I'm curious how it performs if it is any different from previous years. I sold mine last year and ordered new sled but of course it hasn't shown yet and likely will be awhile.

I put them under the SRX decal. Gold numbers with red outline, the camera flash makes them look black in the first pic

Mine are almost identical .
I finally found an unobtrusive , and legal spot, to put my trail permit .
On the side of the headlight .
