Anyone else have this problem? I took a look under my sled and I see the plastic body side panels melting into the groves of the side heat exchangers.

It is touching on both sides. The plastic is melting right into the grooves on the heat exchangers.

Actually Tom, NO.

#1) The boiling temperature of water @ STP is 100 C, BUT, if you go outside of STP, the boiling temperature changes. The system is sealed under pressure. This RAISES the boiling temperature.

#2) The boiling point of water is not the same as the boiling point of antifreeze mixed with water. Mixing antifreeze with water RAISES the boiling temperature.

What this means; It actually WOULD take more heat than 100 C to boil over your system.

I would say the bolt that goes through your running board is missing, letting the pastic slide back and touch the heat exchanger. Just a guess.
