Sidewinder boost pipes

Hey all i just bought a 23' xtx se 0 miles. Of course the boost pipes were already cracked. Dealer submitted warranty and is sending me new pipes. Figured I'd keep them as a spare. With that being said there are silicone pipes and Aluminum ones. Which is best? I thought i read somewhere that the silicone can expand a little. I didnt see a discussion about this. If there is, my apologies. Also any other things to look for?

The silicone ones are fine. You want to talk about expansion, do a boost pressure test on those stock ones. Lol. It's shocking.

Either is waaay better than stock.

Turbo, I assume the metal tubes require twice as many clamps??

They must have changed suppliers on the 25 models because the the new charge tubes are much more stout than the tubes on my 24. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I was in there manipulating them to get the air box out.

I haven't even taken the side panels off my left over 2024 yet and just want to know where to look.

My left side pipe was cracked in 3 locations. Where i first noticed was where it connected to the intercooler in the nose. You can see it just sitting next to it.
