Has anyone seen one of these in person and could they easily be retrofitted to the Nytro? I believe that Yamaha is also using a roll over valve on the YXZ1000R but I don't think it is the same one.

Would like to hear about this as well!!

My nytro has been on it's lid twice, couple minutes each time while I got my bearings righted with no ROV- it didn't leak that much, if anything to actually worry about.
An '07 Phazer I wrecked hard on like 3 years ago puked maybe 1/2 a qt on the trail but I still rode it 40 miles back to the truck, RuggyBuggy bought it all & as far as I know is still running that motor.
Waste of $$$ to me since I've tested the results 3 times now, still goin' :)

That's not much of a benchmark. What if the lack of a ROV holds your adventure side back?
I have not seen the construction of the Sidewinder ROV, but it should not be too far a way from being retrofitted to a Nytro I suppose.

I think a roll over valve is needed, but depends on your type of riding. On a good day my sled may end up on it hood several times a day in the backcountry. The easiest way to get sleds unstuck is to roll them over, especially on the side of a hill. I have a four stroke solutions roll over valve.
