sidewinder viper shock lengths mtx btx ltx fronts

i know the mtx has to be shorter but are the btx ltx front ends take different leghth shocks? i have elkas on my btx and wondering if they will fit my wide front end xtx thanks for help. different part numbers because resevours on btx has to be pointed different direction but maybe length is different

You will loose about 1" of travel but they should work fine. It's probable that they have in internal spacer that could be removed during a rebuild to gain some extra length too.
