SIDEWINDER XTX

I had a viper xtx and had same results as @NOS-PRO. I now have a winder BTX with Fox EVO. Rear shock has rebound adjustment. The EVO chamber is great as I was able to reduce pressure in main chamber because of EVO chamber to stiffen bottom of stroke for hard hits. Sled handling is improved over regular floats and can’t see any reason to change anything shock wise. Sled handling is great on or off trail.

well it seems guys that messed with adjusting can find a better ride than what it came with on the showroom floor but still not much on trail feed from a XTX that had some work from HyGear. I went with the XTX because it transfers very hard and comes with an aggressive track unlike the LTX that has a low track and does not transfer very well. I guess i am ordering the HyGear Linkage and go from there. I am not looking for suspension that is going to work great for 2 footers because if its that rough i am parking it and drinking beer. would like a set up that can handle small chop up to 10 or so inches comfortable. without any feedback on results of adding dual air chamber to the floats I will pass on putting money into the floats and put it toward Custom Axis.

Keep us updated on the hygear link, I'm debating it also.. I've already dropped $2k on sledding goodies this yr so I'm watching it for now.

Damn where did 2 grand go if you did not get into the suspension?

$360 in a sled lift.

$800 on all new Klim gear, jacket, bibs, and boots.

$550 on a 2.6" power claw track for out west

$175 for out west gear and chain

$380 on manual power steering

$285 on ski carbide scratchers, belt guard and intake guard.

$50 for spare belt

#*$&@, i think its closer to $2500. Yikes.

@MrSled is running the Hygear setup on his xtx. I know he likes it. Hopefully he will comment now that I tagged him or send him a pm.
