Which one? I have 6
My skis on my Warrior are just about rteady to be changed and considering trying a set of Simmons.
My Question is to Warrior or Attack owners.
What size runners, do you guys running Simmons skis , use with the 136" skid?
Any feedback would be appreciated on this.

I can't answer your question as I chose Slydogs over Simmons for my Attak, but I see an ad on pg 64 of November Snow Goer for Simmons Flexi-ski "Generation II." It's a different profile than the original....looks like maybe deeper keels, plus wings were added to each side of the bars so they're no longer at the far outer edges. And the ad says they're 10 inches wide, talk about a pair of surfboards! They wouldn't even fit next to the other sled on my trailer with shoes that wide! But holy crap would they float!

Funny thing is, the ad refers you to either call them or go to their webstie, but I went to their website to check out the new ski and there's nothing but the old ski info on there...they don't even bother to mention their new product.

Brilliant business move.

But I thought you might be interested in knowing there's apparently something new on the horizon to consider before you make your ski investment...

I have an '04 136" Expert-X with Simmons.

I run 9" Bergstrom Triple points on the inside, and 4" Bergstroms on the outside - per Scott's recommendations. It steers quite easy and I may notice just a little push, but with added flexibility of the skis it's a nice rounded package.

However, they [Simmons] are a bit harder to carve with in the powder.

My friend, Chris, AKA "BLUE Me" swears by Simmons and has them on his Attak - No complaints.

I had Simmons on my RX-1. I tried several combinations of 4" and 6" carbides. My experience is 6" on the outside made it harder to steer and I found that a 4" carbide was much better, plus cheaper. Running a 6" carbide on the inside was best.

Since you have a Warrior with the longer track, I run 6" carbides on my Attak without studs. A 4" carbide on the longer tracks is just not enough.

So do you think double 6" would be better with a studded 136 track?

I've run simmons for years...
yes run the 6"...they will not be too agressive...again one of the traits of them is a mild understear anyway..
last year I ran shaper bars on a srx and it was the most agressive carving I've had with them yet...almost too much considering what I've become used to..
