Simmons Gen III's

Has anyone tried the new Simmons Gen III flexi skis that can compare them to the Gen I's?
We've been using the original flexi-skis for a couple years and are wondering how the new one compare.

I have gen 1 on my xtx. installed gen 3 on a phazer and really would like to try them on my xtx. not just for the width, because of the runner design. alot like pilots. love the gen 1 in loose snow, but after 4000 mi, found that hard pack, frozen or ice, they are brutal. they wore my ski bushings out in no time in spring riding
