I recently picked up an 11 Apex SE that the original owner put Simmons Flexi Skis (Gen 1) on. I am looking for an ability to make the Simmons carve well on high speed corners OR simply replace them with a single keel stock ski. Bergstrom isn't confident in my ability to make the Flexi Ski do what I want it to do. They also suggested the stock ski on the 11 APEX isn't very good (8HG). They like the 12 ski more (8HV) but they suggest finding a pair of the 2003-2010 skis for my riding. Does anyone know what that ski code / description is?

Thanks for your support TY team!

I have a 2011 Apex XTX with Curve skis. I use a 6 inch carbide with Curves leading edge carbides.
I rode your Michigan trails last winter and was very impressed on how well the skis bite in the corners. The design of the ski also makes them work very well in deeper snow as well.
They work so well on the Yamaha that I also installed a set of Curve skis on my Blade.
I also think that the Curves are the best looking ski out there. It really dresses up the sled.

x2 on the curves.

I am running a set on my xtx with 6" studboy shaper bars. on the groomed trail they are awesome. they float well off trail as well. the only place they have a problem is in the sloppy spring stuff as they tend to push in the corners when it gets loose but on that day the only thing that was sticking in the corners was Yamaha mountain skis.
