No! The same company that makes Viper and RX1 skis, makes the Precisions. The name escapes me, as it's been a couple years since I heard it, something like ACB inc...
The thing is, dual runner skis will dart just the same as conventional skis! If you've got two sleds with the same skis, the rear sled will follow the fronts tracks every time, especially if the ski runner pressure is front heavy. It's all about the ski runner pressure!

 Stud Boy will have Simmons replacement carbides out in 3 weeks! Better yet, it will a shaper bar! This developent (shaper bar) puts Simmons ahead of the pack. Cornering will be spot on and of course there will be no darting!

Suisse Sledder,
Did SnowTech really call them "Arctic Crap Mountain sleds" in the article you posted or did you take journalistic licence?
Whatever the case I must admit I am LMAO.

Naw, that was just a typo. It seems whenever I want to type Cat, my hands type Crap.
However, SnowTech did talk about sled reliability in another article. Of course Team Blue came in first and the article said this was based on SnowTech's use of Yamaha sleds over the past 25 years. Ski-Doo and Polaris were behind Yamaha. They didn't even mention Team Green. Now that I found really funny.

* I rated the C&As 4th on icy roads because without studs the rear end wanted to come around. With a studded sled this wouldn't be a problem and the C&As would no doubt be first or second in this category.
Ok, a big flaw of this test is that the C&A's had agressive carbides on them. Of course they'll be poorly behaved with an unstudded track!
Also, he failed to check the Ski Runner Pressure with each ski. Had he measured this with each mounting, it would shed more light into the set up behind the design. When set up properly, no ski will dart, that's why I think he should have another test, all on the same day!
