thanks guys, bby2000, the hood is a rx-1 hood, as is all the body work, frame, etc, its basically a factory 03 yamaha rx-1 chassic with some light weight parts we built for it. jeff

((((you can see and hear it breaking traction from 200 to 900 ft))))

Congratulations Jeff - awesome results, great to see you're giving OSP something to worry about LOL

Boy thats moving!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice work there Jeff. You can hear it spinning and see the porposing. Imagine if you can fix that and leave with a 60 foot in the teens or 0's! 7.20's would be possible.

I'd be just the guy to help you Jeff, but I let my NHRA license expire. I'm all raced and burned out as you know, from all the politics and time on the road every weekend.

Still using the Aaen four-pro drive clutch? I know theres a 7.20 in there, you'll just have to evolve the chassis, suspension and clutching to get it there. Looks from the video as the boost/power comes up its getting onto the back wheel on the rear suspension or slightly unloading the front of the rear suspension, spinning and hooking causing the porposing. I get a kick form the butt wipe on AM snow busting your chops. I have a hunch it could be one of your rivals if you know what I mean.

Anyway, don't worry about the jealous ones, just keep going out to pummel them into obliviation. Gotta love the old carbed RX-1 yet!

Your kits on my first turbo RX-1 and later my Attak were by far my favorite turbo sleds I've ever owned. You have taught me a great deal about turbos for these sleds. I hope to have a new favorite though, I bought a new Ski-Doo XR1200 after last years disappointing Cat Z1 turbo project. Bought a Full Power turbo kit for it, reminds me of your kit for the RX-1 I loved so much. Around 215 HP using a hi-flow can at 6 lbs boost on 92 octane, nice and simple using the quick spooling GT25. You have any plans for a Ski-Doo kit?

Good luck this weekend. Post your results. Hope you can go even quicker!

i have been using a micro primary and a supreme tool secondary, both are excellent, but we are planning to change to marks new primary as it is very tunable. next year i want to update the suspension to the new proline as well, hell maybe if i can afford it i will get a whole new sled from proline, they make an awesome promod, (just for those wondering, i was not ripping on prolines chassic with the promads are for pussys comment)( i was just excited with what we did with a stock chassic, a promod should definatly be ALOT faster, maybe we'll see next year, or this ice season) are you listening john, hint, hint, lol nothing for the skidoo turbo yet, but....

we put in a dynojet 224 x 2000 hp automotive chassic dyno, and are also updating our engine dyno to a 1500 hp superflow as well, we still have the track dyno which we updated to hold over 300 hp to the track at 180 + mph. we are going to focus more on tuning and development of turbos in the future, so you'll see alot of new stuff for next year after we finish testing this year. jeff
