Nope, all stock components used inside the motor. Only thing you need is a new thicker gasket.

My point is that if you are going to run 22PSI with three OEM head gaskets on 98 oct. (European) - you are pushing your luck.
Remember that 98 oct. (Eur) is equal to 93 oct. (US).
Rx-1 head gasket is 0,025" if I remember correct.
Wouldn't pushing over 18psi on the GT2560 (past its' sweet spot) cause your setup (turbo, CR and octane number) to be prone to dentonation on longer pulls?
I might be wrong (I am newbie and still learning). I just don't want you to ruin that sweet engine

At 9.6:1 CRs and 22 lbs of boost running on 98 octane pump it won't survive for very long.
Don't even think of trying without running meth injection to keep detonation in check.

Alright, i have bought a 2003 engine with heavy duty head studs and 2 STD headgaskets, whats the compression with that setup? is it possible to run 15-18PSI on 98octan you think?

16 lbs. is about max on 98 octane with 2 head gaskets, thats 98 u.s. octane if as was mentionted earlier your 98 is equal to are 93 then you had better put some lc pistons in.

on 98 Ron you will probably deto... The rods won't do anything to help with this...you need to lower compression...or run meth....

16 lbs is 16 psi... there's a boost calculator if you look on top at the turbo/supercharger forums...
Yes 98 over here is somwhere around 93. They use motor octane number (mon) while we use research octane number (ron)...

micke_o86 - I have a spreadsheet using our way of measuring octane RON, it takes both RX-1s and Apex'es, you can manipulate CRs by adding or retracting head gaskets, adding head shims or pistons. It's the boost calculator from the sticky converted to Scandinavian so to speak.
Shoot me a PM with your email address and will email you my version of the boost calculator. From my experience, what the calculator says you can run your engine will survive, as long as your turbo system is in a good state of tune. Jetting is important. If you do not have a WBO2 and a Boostmeter, you have to get it NOW.

Nice info,so if using 10 to 1 low comp pistons and stock head gasket with meth injection on 91 0ctane US with 114 degree lob centers on both intake and exhaust with the right jetting,what would be my limit on boost?thanks

What is the limit running meth? I don't know really, but with a 50/50 mix of methanol and water and spraying the optimal amount of meth, total octane rating of premium (93 octane US) pump fuel+meth could exceed 120 octane RON. I'm no fuel expert, I have this info from street car sites around the net, so bare with me if I'm totally wrong on my 120 octane statement.

So with 110 octane race fuel and meth would would be the limit on boost?I just want to know for when I get my kit this fall from OSP ,thanks
