Single shot shock removal how to

I have to replace the relay rods.
Can I do it without removing the skid?

Buy the steel relay rods from barn of parts.
Can be done with the skid installed.
Look in the frequently asked questions for shock removal and install.

i did the ones on my 2016 apex xtx with the skid in the sled on my sled lift. i did take the air out of the shock to do them but did leave shock hooked up.

if i would have had time, i could have gotten away with re bushing mine but only found them a few days before i left for ride and that ride toasted the rods.

I have bought the steel relay rods myself & power coated them. Buy extra inserts that go into the 4 holes of the relay rods & grease them.
