So I picked up a pair of the Ski Doo scratchers, which attach to the rear skid mount. They are really far back on the track, so I assume they are doing little to lubricate the hyfax, but all the Ski Doo guys are running them. None of them have complained. Kind of nice because you can back them up and they throw a lot of snow.
Any one else tried these? I was using regular spring ones, which mount only a little further forward than the Ski Doos, and have broken several sets so I figured I try these.
What about the ski mount springs? Seen them online but never in real life. We used to use a bolt in the ski, is that still used? It was hard on the ski, would rout out the hole after a while.
