I have an Attak and was thinking of putting on the Skidoo wheels. Does anyone know the part# and do you change all 6 or just the front 4? Also was thinking of adding the Fix extra wheel kit behind the front 4 wheels it seems to wear twice as much in this area. Also who has a good price on the Skidoo wheels?

i was told you might put too much pressure on the rails by adding bigger wheels .i'm going with the lowering kit from pioneer. check it out.

I did all 6 did not add extra wheels. Hyfax wear (might be partly due to SLP pads) is about 5-10 times longer. You will need some longer bolts or machine the holders

I put on the Poo 6052 wheels, all six, 135mm. Machined my mounts about 1/8 in for the wider bearing race and use stock bolts. Mightyattack has done this and very happy and now I have. Also slp wear pads. I changed hyfax to the old style narrow also, besides it fits thru the track windows. Good luck

I have 6052 idlers on my 06 apex gt for 1,000 miles and no problems ,just bolted them on .The 2 inside wheels need to be reversed only!!! Dealer gave me 6 under warranty and told me to install them this way . What sled does the narrow hyfax come off???.RTX DUDE said:I put on the Poo 6052 wheels, all six, 135mm. I had a machinist say he didn't feel there was anough material on the holder to machine much of anything without compromising the strength of the holder. I assume no one has had any issues?

Sorry but my machinist did it. he is also a retired Cat mechanic with a junk spine. I was 3 ft. behind him when he lathed them. Yes, there is enough metal to do it and NOT compromise it's integrity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! took about 1/8th and twice that left? maybe? did not mic it.

Machined the mounts, using the Doo wheels. 3,000 miles, no problems. A bunch of those miles were in crap, thin VT mountain trails - a lot of rocks.

Not doubting anyones word. Just wanted to be sure. I have the Polaris wheels ready to go, now just have to get it done. By machining the holder, I assume you don't need longer bolts. BTW, I plan on replacing all six wheels.
