I have recently bought a 2007 RTX and I put 120 studs in the track and a set of woody dueley's 6 " on the ski's everyone is talking about shimming the ski's
#1- do I needed to?
#2- how do I do it (instructions would be nice)
#3 - much shim should I need
New to the 4 stroke family so any help is appreciated

In my experience there are no negatives when shimming your ski's. Positives are lighter steering and elimination of darting.
I was thinking what material to use between ski. When i changed my slides i had to cut them shorten. Cutted piece was perfect fit under ski sadle.
