Guys, all I have ever done is just replace the carbdes. I see were guys are shimming to reduce darting and pushing in the corners. Are shims the same thing as ski savers? If soneone could explain I would be grateful. Thanks

shims and savers are 2 different things. shims go on the back part of the rubber bumper that surrounds the bolt that holds your ski onto the spindle.
savers are a shim too but they go between your carbide and the ski

Ok thanks for that explaination. I understand what the savers do. Now could you explain what the shims do on the rubber bumper.
Thanks Tork
