So I am new to the Nytro MTX. I have read a couple of post about widening and narrowing the ski stance. I had a SkiDoo Summit that you would change the spacer from one side of the spindle to the other to change the width. I see on my MTX it has a spacer on each side. Can I put both spacers on one side or the other to widen or narrow up the stance?
Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. Depends on the year you have, my '10 has three spacers, I try to keep a small spacer on either side wether I'm running narrow or wide. That way all the weight isn't on one side of the pin or bolt.

My 8" Powder Hounds showed up today on the door step. Put both spacers on for a wide setting for trails around home. I will narrow it up before heading West. I love the Hounds!!!!
Thanks for the help.

you should post some pics of the powder hounds. I really would like a set, just need to get the money together.

I have both spacers on one side for the widest ski stance. I find there is a lot of play in my skis.....the skis wiggle up and down (or side to side depending how you look at it). Other makes don't have any play at all and the play I have is a bit over the top. Is this normal?

I see you have a 2008. Have you had the bushings in your front end changed yet?

I would have to have a look on mine to be sure. What I would suggest is to put a support under the belly pan and jack the front end up letting both skis hang freely. Then I would check any place where the spindles or A arms are connected with ball joints for slop or movement.
This way you should be able to identify what area is giving you the problem. If you find the slop and movement is coming from somewhere other than your skis, I expect that you will need your bushings replaced. Mine were replaced by the dealer under warranty.
I expect a search of these forums will provide more detailed information about this, however if you are like me I have a hard time getting the searches to work for me.
If this doesn't help or you have other questions send me a pm and I can try and look into it a bit further for you.
