I have an 05 RX-1 and will be installing a skidplate this afternoon.
Can I tip it on its side for the install? Which side is preferred left or right?

I am concerned about oil leaking thru the breather ...

You should be fine to tip it over, throttle side down.

LMAO!

Yes, go ahead and roll it on its side. Which one does not matter. You may need to blip the throttle to start it afterwards.

I just finished installing one on my Warrior. I didn't tip mine on it's side,I just jacked up the front and then put blocks under the skiis. Then layed a mat down under the sled, got down on my back and started drilling out the rivits for my inserts. It was an easy job really, good luck!! :yam:

Get Two jack stands or two cinder blocks get ur wife or buddy to just slap them under skis or jackstands under the control arms and lay on ur back.

If u tip it on its side just make sure there is not alot of gas put it on its side is easy.
