Skinz Airframe running board delivery time

Have anyone ordered the Airframe running boards directly from Skinz this season (after September)?

I placed my order Sept 28 for the polished aluminium Airframe running boards for my '09 XTX, and they are still not made nor shipped. Latest update I got was on the Nov 26 that the latest estimated shipment date is Dec 15.

Anyone else having long delivery lead time on these?

Don't worry, it's true for everyone. The best way to order Skinz is to go through a vender that has them in stock or order them in April while you don't need them in a hurry and there demand is down.

They drastically increase production yearly, but the demand increases more. It's a common problem with the best products in the industry.

Yes, they make em for 121's too.

To the OP, you could always cancel your order with Skinz and pick them up on eeebay. Some available right now. No affiliation, just happened to see them on there.

I ordered the skinz front end and boards in October and received within a week. However I paid the 150 extra and my vendor got them in good time.

I know we would all prefer to support our local Ty suppliers like oft, or go to skinz, but just a heads up. If they are out of stock cause of demand, and you can't wait there looks to be some for sale on ebay from another skinz rep for the running boards.

Skinz website states they are a manufacturing company with limited capacity to receive and handle orders. Because of this they recommend all sales to go through their distributors.
I ordered my front end, running boards as well as other Skinz products through OFT and I never had any delivery time dramas. In fact, I even got the absolutely first production unit of the front end.

I ordered a set of airframes from skinz a couple weeks ago and they said they wont ship till sometime in january!!! Good job im not waiting on them i wont be home to use the sled till february anyway.

just because they say they wont ship til jan doesnt mean they will. ive had issues with longer delays in the past. id cancel and purchase elsewhere.
