2007 Yamaha Phazer GT
I just noticed the left side of the snowflap support on my Skinz rear bumper is cracked. I have a bolt with washers spanning the snow flap and bumper as a temp fix.
What do you recommend I do to reinforce the snow flap? I'm thinking a 1" piece of aluminum on the top bolted to the bumper and then bolted all along the top of the snow flap bracket?
Or do I take it in and just get it re-welded an get them to weld in some reinforcement?

Took it to my local welder. Having them grind off the old welds and welding it back on and adding some additional brackets. $75 all in.
