So let the rumors and speculation begin. We have no snow yet, so what better to do than try to decipher Chris' latest post.

I could be wrong, but is it a snake track? Possibly a Sidewinder? With the hints of all the others making a Snow Bike, I could see a 450cc Yamaha Sidewinder to compete with what the others are putting out.

It's not for me, but with as much attention as they drew at Haydays, there is obviously a market for it.

I would think minimal engineering since the bikes are world class. And Chris was sure to name-drop Camso (previously Camoplast) in his previous post about being in the booth directly behind Yamaha at Haydays. What's that I smell? A Timbersled crusher? Hard to imagine as they do have market share right now.

Ok with me if they bring a snowbike to market but don't care much if they do or don't..not for me but if there is a market go for it!

Yamaha registered patents for a snow bike long before the Timbersled Mountainhorse kit was even on the drawing board. But never brought it to market. Will they now? Who knows. Does it really matter? You can get an OE quality snow bike kit and put it on your Yamaha dirt bike if you really wanted to, so whether Yamaha produces one or not really makes no difference to me. I saw the Yeti kit at Haydays and in my opinion, the quality is far superior to a TS product, and probably better than anything an OE will offer in the next few years. But if we're talkin' snowbikes, it better have some balls or it's not for me. I wouldn't mind giving this one a ride though:
. Are you listening Yamaha? LOL!

That looks like a blast !!

Looks like my wife laid face down in the sand and then shifted back a few times leaving some "sweater puppy" imprints in the sand like she always does.

CR states it far too early to talk about new products, leading me to believe that the picture seems to represent someone turning there foot from left to right and stomping out any rumors. Look like 2018 will be a long wait, I don't even know why I posted. I stopped believing over 6 yrs in what CR has to say, to much flip, flopping.Sno bikes suck on the trail, AD Bovin had a purpose built Sno bike, the Snohawk. Went no where, people have a hard time riding regular sleds never mind a Snobike. Total niche market. just my .02

CR also mentions something about BRP products, maybe Yamaha plans to get in bed with BRP now that there are struggling financially . That spyder sure would be good with the M1 engine in it.
