For all you guys with that have poor slide life, I just got 3500 miles out of my last set. They are cheap graphite slides, driven in all kinds of trails from early to late season riding. My nytro has no mods to the suspension. Only help it gets is a pair of snow catchers that bolt on to my simmons skis. Slides came from MFG Supply in Medford WI. I think the slides were less than $20 a pair.........

Please check with our Preffered Vendors before ordering, they may be able to get the same slides for the same price and this helps keep this great site going.

Also, I just changed my stock slides with over 2300 miles. I didnt have to, but I had the skid out to replace some toasted idlers so I did it then. Too many people get nervous when they get down to the wear line.
I have over 1000 miles on the new ones that are the cheapies I got from my local Marshall distributer(my dealer didnt have stock ones in stock)

Same as the original Poster, Ive ridden in some pretty sketchy conditions and still got great milage out of the stock slides ;)!
