Anyone noticed/checked the slide wear ?
Some sleds are getting some miles and was wondering how the slide wear is ? Also where any wear takes place, plus right slide compared to left slide.
I only have 46 miles to date.

450 miles. Have some slight wear on the front of the slides where they would normally wear first..and I mean very slight. First 100 miles on my sled were done in field testing tho with very minimal snow

Over 500 now. No wear to speak of. No surprise though since the wheels are well below even a new slide. I will be putting Dupont slides on soon though I am hoping and it looks like they are a bit thicker. If so I am hoping to gain a little speed with less wheel contact. Not a priority though. Need to do some measuring.

Slide wear seems to be very good, over 1,000 miles and I cant even tell that there worn. Been in very good snow for most of the miles. I would have replaced them on my 1200 by now. lol

Same here 1000 miles on it and they look brand new. ;)!

650 Kms like brand new, no wear, RX-1 one ride and they wear down.

On my Nytro I had DuPont Hyfax and 3 marginal wheel kits in there and a wheel kit, that thing could go for ever without a mark on the hyfax. The Viper looks just like that.

I used to ride my rx-1 with a spare set and have to change them on the trail on a 400 mile ride.
